Join Lt. Gen. David A. Deptula, USAF (Ret.), Dean of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, as he leads a distinguished panel featuring Brig. Gen. Houston Cantwell, USAF (Ret.), Maj. Gen. Lt. Gen. Deptula will kick off the session with an overview of the rising importance of UAVs in modern defense strategy, the established UAS infrastructure at Grand Forks, and new opportunities emerging through initiatives like Golden Dome. Following this, Brig. Gen. Cantwell will expand on the strategic role of the Arctic domain and ongoing efforts to increase Department of Defense and Congressional awareness of its significance. Heather Penney will conclude with a discussion on the growing emphasis on Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) programs and the potential for Grand Forks to become a leading hub in this next phase of UAS development.
